What is schoolbells.nz?

A reliable and secure class-change bell scheduling system, with a custom-designed easy-to use web-based calendar interface, and custom-designed hardware.

Why was schoolbells.nz created?

To solve a problem that we saw many school administrators facing - the ease of managing their bell schedule for the continuous change demands that schools need to accommodate, such as school holidays, daylight savings, teacher-only days, cross country days and parent teacher interviews.

Who created schoolbells.nz?

The service was built from scratch by a team of two engineers with considerable experience supporting Information Technology in schools, Pete Mundy and Nick Fauchelle. It became apparent to us that managing bell schedules can be a pain point for school administrators and it was one we became determined to solve.

Who uses schoolbells.nz?

Our service is currently in use in a range of New Zealand primary and intermediate schools across the North and South Islands. The service will function in any state-integrated or independent school in New Zealand and is fully compatible with the Network For Learning. We do not currently offer service to customers outside of New Zealand.

What we do need to use schoolbells.nz?

You just need a bell system! Our service is a scheduler and replacement buttonpads - but we don't yet supply bell sounders. We integrate with any existing class-change or fire bells system to upgrade it with a reliable automatic scheduler, fronted by a modern calendar-based interface.
